Statistics indicated that more than 5 million people participated in the Dior x Air Jordan 1 joint shoe lottery, hoping to grab 1 out of 8,000 pairs of the limited sneakers.
The much-anticipated Dior x Air Jordan 1 OG joint shoe lottery has ended. Christian Dior Couture President and CEO Pietro Beccari revealed that the lottery took only 9 hours to finish and the official winner list has been announced on July 2.
According to WWD, more than 5 million people participated in the lottery of the shoe this time. However, only 8,000 people have successfully won the lottery, which is equivalent to 1 lottery for every 625 participants. In addition to these 8,000 pairs, the official also produced another 5,000 pairs, which only available to the brand’s VIPs and privileged customers. It implied that only 13,000 pairs are circulated on the market.
The prices of the High and Low versions are USD$2,200 and USD$2,000 respectively, and the current resale prices have climbed more than 5 times the retail price.
