Nike Kobe 5 Protro’s “Lakers” announced the official release date

Nike Zoom Kobe 5 Protro release plan was put on hold due to the unfortunate helicopter crash in California. As the NBA season has resumed recently, Nike has announced the official release date of the Nike Kobe 5 Protro’s “Lakers”.

The new color scheme was first exposed by Anthony Davis during the NBA 2020 All-Star Game week.

Nike Kobe 5 Protro’s “Lakers” injects the classic purple and gold color into the upper, and uses black as a supplement to create a low-key and introverted feel.

The tongue uses Kobe Bryant’s personal logo with the handwritten signature on the heel highlights it’s identity, and the insole is full of Los Angeles-style palm trees and lettering.

The shoe also equipped with a double-layer Zoom Air cushion and an ice blue rubber outsole to add comfort and durability.

According to @J23app, the latest Nike Kobe 5 Protro color scheme “Lakers” will be available on and designated stores on August 24 to commemorate Kobe Bryant. The suggested price is USD$175.
